ABOUT DEFENDER

Built from experience.

DEFENDER was built by people who know the product from the inside out.

Our team brings together years of hands-on experience across apparel design, footwear development, graphic design, sourcing, production and manufacturing.

We understand what goes into making a product work—from the cut and fit of a garment to the construction of a shoe, the materials behind it and the artwork that gives a collection its identity.

DEFENDER was created to put that experience to work.

To design with purpose instead of adding features for appearance. To choose materials because they perform. To refine fit because movement matters. To pay attention to the details that become obvious once a product is actually being used.

Our background allows us to pull from athletics, workwear, outdoor performance, technical design and everyday life without being confined to any one category.

DEFENDER operates between our facilities in Upstate New York and New Jersey, where product development, production and fulfillment come together under one roof.

A large part of what we do is hands-on. From artwork and sampling to apparel production, finishing and quality control, we stay close to the product throughout the process.

Our in-house capabilities allow us to move quickly, test ideas, refine details and maintain a higher level of control over what carries the DEFENDER name.

Orders are fulfilled directly through our New York and New Jersey operations, keeping us connected to the product from development through delivery.

We believe that proximity matters.
